Description
Head & Neck setups using only a Silverman headrest can introduce reproducibility challenges by creating a pivot point between the headrest and the patient’s occipital. MoldCare cushions are composed of a soft fabric bag filled with polystyrene beads that are coated in a resin activated by water. When activated, the cushion can be molded to the patient’s precise cranial geometry resulting in superior setup reproducibility and patient comfort with or without use of a traditional, rigid headrest.
