The carbon fiber DSPS-Prominent® fully encapsulates both the top and bottom of the patient’s head, neck, and shoulders, supporting excellent positioning & immobilization throughout the patient’s course of treatment. The DSPS-Prominent® features the same patented, non-shrinking thermoplastics as the original DSPS® line. Various models are available including open face and long-hair masks.
An alternative approach is using the DSPS-Prominent® occipital mask as the sole patient positioning aid in conjunction with surface-guided treatments, without a top mask, eliminating patient anxiety due to the facial mask.
